Smoke Free ("we", "us", "our") is a web and Android app that helps you track cigarette-resistance streaks and stay accountable with friends. The app is operated by an individual developer and is available at smokefreetimer.com.

We collect only the data required to provide the service.

We do not collect your real name, phone number, location, device identifiers, or any sensitive personal information.
All data is stored in Supabase (supabase.com), a managed cloud database and authentication platform. Supabase acts as a data processor on our behalf and stores data in secure, hosted PostgreSQL databases. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
Data is transmitted over HTTPS at all times. We do not store passwords in plain text — authentication is handled entirely by Supabase Auth.
Your data is used exclusively to operate the app:
— Authenticate you when you sign in
— Display your resistance timer and session history
— Show your username and stats on the leaderboard
— Match friend requests by username
— Send a password-recovery email if requested
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, machine learning, or any purpose other than running the features described above.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for their own purposes. The only external service that processes your data is Supabase, which stores it on our behalf as described above.
The app loads fonts from Google Fonts and icons from Font Awesome CDN. These are static asset requests; no account data is transmitted to them.
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists.
To delete your account and all associated data directly from the app:
— Sign in to the app
— Open the Settings tab
— Tap Delete Account
— Type your username to confirm
This immediately and permanently deletes your account, all session history, and all friend connections. This action cannot be undone.
If you are unable to access the app, you can also request deletion by emailing support@smokefreetimer.com and we will permanently delete your data within 30 days.
Smoke Free is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@smokefreetimer.com.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
